FBW Group is featured the latest Integrity Index released by The British Chamber of Commerce Kenya (BCCK).
The BCCK Integrity Index recognises efforts being made to run a “trusted and ethical” business. It is based on an assessment of a company’s regulatory compliance, track record and internal policies against corruption.
The companies listed operate in a range of sectors and vary in size, reflecting Kenya’s diverse economy. It is the second consecutive year that FBW has featured in the index.
Antje Eckoldt, FBW Group director and its Kenya country manager, said: “We are proud to be named in the Integrity Index by the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya (BCCK).
“It features companies in Kenya, that are committed to business integrity and met the benchmarks of BCCK’s principles-based framework.
“Integrity is one of our core values and we have built the policies and procedures to support this. We are committed to transparency in our business dealings and sustainability in the services that we deliver.
“We also believe that lasting business partnerships are built on trust and shared values.
“As an Index company, we are committed to strengthening integrity capacity in our company and helping build trust in our business institutions.”
Farida Abbas, chief executive of the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya, said: “The Integrity Index gives organisations and BCCK members a chance to appreciate their local partners and suppliers.
“Working together, we can show that integrity delivers sustainable economic payback for everyone.”
UK/Kenyan businesses are among the largest investors, employers and taxpayers in Kenya, and are well represented across all sectors, from agriculture to renewable energy, as well as technology fast moving consumer goods, security and financial and professional services.
FBW’s Kenya office in the capital Nairobi has played a key part in work towards the creation of a low-cost, affordable housing strategy for the country.
