FBW’s concept design and masterplan for a mixed-use development at Mara Oysterbay City, Dar es Salaam has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious WAN Urban Design Award 2014. The design for this prominent development provides 450,000 m2 of built-up space over a 27 acre site to form a new commercial hub and draws on its East African cultural context and the sustainable use of local materials within a contemporary design.
