FBW Group’s inspiring story of 25 years of quality design, architecture, planning and engineering work across East Africa has been chronicled in a new book.

Commissioned to celebrate the milestone anniversary, the publication highlights many of landmark projects the group has helped to deliver over a quarter of a century and the people whose efforts have made FBW the successful business it is today.

It is also the story of FBW’s development over those years, told through the eyes of many of those who have played a role in its growth in the region and beyond.

Group chairman Geoff Wilks, one of the FBW original founders, is among those who have worked over the past 12 months to help produce the book.

He says: “It has been fascinating to look back at the way FBW has grown and developed over the years. It has been an exciting and fulfilling journey so far, and the book chronicles that.

“It’s also been a chance to reminisce and share people’s stories, from our earliest days right up to present day. The one thing we can say about FBW’s story is that it has never been dull! It has been a real adventure.

“Putting the book together also allowed us to look back at the projects we have been involved in and it’s a wide-ranging portfolio that we are all rightfully proud of. Our desire to do better which started on day one shines strongly through the pages.”

The book will be printed shortly, in the meantime an online version has been published, which can be found here.
